This week's homily by Beth Rodenhouse: Lessons from a Chaplain

Our Pastor Sal is currently on sabbatical, and we have an amazing lineup of inspiring speakers in the coming weeks.  This Sunday, Beth Rodenhouse, chaplain at Pilgrim Manor in Grand Rapids will be giving the message​, the title of her homily is “Lessons from a Chaplain.”
 
Rev. Beth Rodenhouse served in parish ministry for eight years and chaplaincy for five years. She currently serves as chaplain at Pilgrim Manor, a United Church Homes community in Grand Rapids, Michigan, which is part of the ministry of the United Church of Christ.

We hope you can join us this Sunday at 10 AM for an inspiring message from Rev. Beth, and uplifting music by Pamela Chappell and Peter Black.

​Pancake Breakfast, February 2!

Our February Potluck will be a Pancake Breakfast in the Friendship Hall on FEBRUARY 2, rather than the second week of February.

Thank you, once again, to our church member, John Willming and his team of volunteers, for facilitating the breakfast. It is always a fun way to celebrate together!

The Sentence: Movie Night, February 6, 7pm

The Social Justice Team is showing a documentary illustrating the wide-ranging damages created by mandatory sentencing laws. Film maker Rudy Valdez documents the aftermath of his sister Cindy’s 15-year sentence for conspiracy charges related to crimes committed by her deceased ex-boyfriend. Doors open at 6:30, movie begins at 7pm.

2020 Women's March Service
