In This Week's E-Pistle, You Will Find:
This Sunday's Service: "Peace! Be Still!"
In the gospel reading from this Sunday's lectionary, the apostles are in a boat during a storm, and they are gripped with fear. Jesus calms the storm with the words, "Peace, be still."
Often, when we are in the storms of life and our world is being rocked, we, too, are overcome with fear. The Good News is that Jesus gives us the tools to transform our fear into faith. Come join us this Sunday at 10 AM, as we learn the path to "Fear-Less Living." Message: Pastor Sal. Music: Peter Black and Max Brown. The Sunday morning service will be recorded and posted later in the day to our church's YouTube channel. Last Week's Service
In the gospel reading from last Sunday's lectionary, we heard Jesus's "Parable of the Mustard Seed." This parable is found in Matthew, Mark and Luke's Gospels, as well as in the Gospel of Thomas, so the early Christians must have felt it was an important lesson. Faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. Enjoy last Sunday's dervice, when we explored how with faith in God and our Divine selves all things are possible!
