The Douglas Congregational UCC Memorial Garden provides a calm and beautiful place for the quiet meditation of the living and the peaceful repose of those who have completed their earthly journey in this life. Please feel free to use this space for times of reflection, journaling, doing art, and enjoying life. For those who wish to have their ashes or those of a loved one placed in the Memorial Garden, please contact the church. Ashes are mixed in designated soil plots throughout the garden uncontained, that they might continue to give life to this world and bear much good fruit. The $500 fee required for placement includes the plot, upkeep of the garden, a brass plaque on the Memorial Wall, and two pages for photos, memories, etc., in the Book of Life, kept in the sanctuary of the church. We encourage you to reserve your plots now, as they are limited and the cost will go up with the price of plaques and upkeep.
